Tintin goes to Hollywood.
Tintin, the Hergé comics hero created in 1929, will become soon a 3D animation star thanks to an ambitious project promoted by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. Tintin is a reporter who plays the role of a bold detective often involved in clearing up mysteries all around the world. He is the hero of 24 comic books published and translated in 80 languages with 230 million copies sold worldwide. The exciting plots and the humour of the series have made Tintin one the most appreciated and celebrated character in the comics universe.
Tintin trilogy first step: The Secret of The Unicorn.
The Italian release of "The Adventures of Tin Tin: The Secret of the Unicorn" is the 4th of November 2011. In the first of three planned feature films, the intrepid Tintin, his pet Snowy and Captain Haddock follow the trail of a long-lost ship, The Unicorn, which holds the secret to an ancient treasure and the key to an ancient curse. The movie will be produced using cutting-edge animation and performance capture techniques, featuring the unique traits of both the characters and the world created by Hergé. This will be the first step of a new exciting trilogy and worldwide licensing franchise.
